Some great news today – the EEF are funding efficacy trials of REACH Primary, a programme for struggling readers delivered by trained Teaching Assistants to individually targeted pupils over a period of 20 weeks. Developed by academics at Leeds University, the trial will run with Year 3 pupils (seven- and eight-year olds) in 80 primary schools. Well done Paula and all the team! BBC – Farther and sun: A dyslexic road trip
BBC 4 is airing a documentary about a father and son, Richard and Arthur Macer, and their journey with dyslexia. It’s had some great reviews. There’s even an interview with Maggie!
